Our favourite young fundraiser, Frank, has already been busy this year with climbing a mountain and selling trading cards to raise funds for the Shelter.
But inspired by watching World Champion Mo Farah at the recent London competition Frank has taken on arguably his toughest challenge yet…a full 5,000 metres on the running track! So on Thursday 24th August, a very warm afternoon, Frank took to the track for the start of 12.5 laps…we’re dizzy just thinking about it! With dad trailing behind Frank ran and ran, motivated by Mighty Mo and also his own love for animals. Frank says “I want people to take care of animals and don’t get rid of them when they get older. I hope they use the money to make more people give the animals new homes, like we did with Poppy.”
Frank set himself a fundraising target of £250, the most he had ever raised, and at time of writing he had amassed an incredible £255! That’s almost a whole month of care for a dog in kennels, well done Frank!
It’s not too late to congratulate Frank and make a donation. His fundraising page is here… FRANK’S DONATION PAGE
