Cheltenham Animal Shelter’s Annual Open Day
My sincere thanks to all who joined us on Saturday for what was another great day showcasing the shelter and all the hard work the staff and volunteers do.
We were delighted to be joined by Craig and Ally from The Breeze radio station who opened our event and also judged the first two categories in the Fun Dog Show.
The sun shone down on Saturday as tails were wagging and visitors hurried to the ice cream stand.
More than 180 cups of tea were served, 300 slices of cake were gobbled and over 165 dogs took part in our popular dog show as the pennies and pounds flooded in.
We are delighted to announce that we have raised a staggering £4,922.38
This is truly a fantastic amount and will help provide care for all of the unwanted and abandoned cats, dogs and small animals at Cheltenham Animal Shelter.
Once again I would like to extend my personal thanks to all who contributed in the various ways to make the day such as success.
From all the staff and animals, thank you again for your continued support.
