Gender: Male

Breed: Shepherd X

George is a lovely little man who is incredibly affectionate with his carers, wanting constant attention and TLC, climbing on your lap for more cuddles. George has been very social to all the people that he has met at the shelter, he is submissive and can in some situations be a little shy, but in general he has enjoyed making lots of new friends. George would like a home where any children are 14+ and very calm. George does need lots of reassurance from his humans when he is unsure, busy environments can make him feel unsafe, he would like quieter walks so that he can relax and enjoy this special bonding time with his owners and take in all the interesting sniffs. George would like a home as the only dog, he enjoys sharing his walks with very calm respectful dogs but finds playful dogs a little overwhelming at present. George bonds so closely with his human friends that he can become worried when left on his own, he will need a home where someone is around for the majority of the day, ideally all day at first, to over the months slowly build up time alone. We can provide plenty of advice on the best ways to do this to ensure George is comfortable at each stage. Please come along to the shelter and fill out an application if you would like to be considered for George.
