Leo

Age: 10 Months

Gender: Male

Breed: Shepherd X

Leo is a sweet boy who is very shut down and scared in kennels, due to this it is hard for us to get a true picture of Leo’s personality as he lacks so much confidence and is not used to human company. Leo is looking for an adult only home that will be very patient with him and give him plenty of time and space to settle in. Leo will need a home with a tolerant social female dog that likes to be very close companions with another dog, Leo likes to sit with the dog and cuddle up so it’ll need to be a dog that also likes this, but that is fairly calm. Leo will need his own garden to spend time in as it’ll take months before he is confident enough to consider a rural walk, he enjoys just spending time relaxing with his doggie friend here and with his human friends, so this can be replicated in a home to give Leo the best chance of settling in smoothly. Leo, when relaxed, can be slightly playful, we can see bits of his personality coming out, and we feel this will develop further in a home environment. Please come along to the shelter and fill out an application if you would like to be considered for Leo.
