Age: 7

Gender: Female

Breed: Yorkie

Poppy is a little shy at first but soon becomes a lovely friendly girl once she has developed trust in you, she likes to climb onto your lap and fall asleep having cuddles; she’d love a calm home with adult as whilst she is a social girl she would not like a busy household. Poppy enjoys her walks and is becoming more confident with the outside world, she’d love a nice garden when she can potter about and relax with her new family on sunny days. Poppy has enjoyed meeting other dogs at the shelter, she says hello and then happily walks on. Poppy needs to go home with Hop who she came in with, but may be suitable to live with a calm small dog pending the mix. Poppy would suit a home in a quiet area as he can be a little vocal when he hears loud noises, he’d love his new family to spend most of the day at home with him so he can have plenty of TLC, he finds time alone a bit daunting at the moment. Please come along to the shelter and have a chat with Karen.
