Breed: Mioritic Shepherd Crossbreed

Rommel a sweet shy little boy who forms strong bonds with his carers but can be a little unsure of new people, but with patience, tasty treats and in his own time he is happy to make new friends! Rommel would benefit from several visits before adoption to ensure that he is relaxed and comfortable with his new family. Rommel would like a home where any children are 14+ and sensible, he’d like a quiet calm home with its own garden to help him with his housetraining and to enjoy off lead time. Rommel could possibly live with a highly social stable female dog pending the mix, Rommel can be quite reactive on first meeting so would need a dog that was accepting of this. The dog must have lived with dogs before and be very tolerant of puppies. Rommel will need company for the majority of the day as he is so young, he would need owners that can devote a lot of time to his development and provide plenty of daily mental stimulation in the form of positive training and enrichment games. Rommel is also a big foodie which helps with his training which we ensure is completely force free and positive in order to get the best from him. Rommel enjoys his walks, he can be a little worried by busy environments but is gaining confidence with each new experience he has paired with some tasty treats and lots of reassurance. Rommel would need a home that can provide walks away from busy roads. Please come along to the shelter and fill out an application if you would like to be considered for Rommel.
