Sarah

Age: 1

Gender: Female

Breed: Labrador

Sarah is a shy sweet girl who takes a little time to start to trust new human friends, she loves her food so this is a useful tool in forming a bond with her. Sarah is looking for a calm patient home where she can in her own time start to gain confidence and learn that the world isn’t such a scary place. Sarah would need a secure garden with high fencing, she loves sniffing out treats so would love to do this for her meals on the grass, utilising her very adept nose. Sarah does not enjoy being left for long periods so would like a home where she can have plenty of company and where she can have her time alone gradually built up. Sarah needs a home that understand she is going to take time to find walks a fun activity, she will need positive training to help her relax and this may take a good few months, but will be very rewarding once she starts to make progress, we can provide plenty of advice on helping Sarah gain trust. If you are interested in Sarah then please come along to the shelter and fill out an application form to be considered for her.
