Scotty is a very sweet boy who loves everyone he meets. He arrived at the Shelter as a stray, but we guess his age to be around 4-6 years old.
Scotty is really struggling in kennels, very frightened and stressed, and so in need of an urgent foster home where he can feel safe and loved.
Possibly due to the stress, Scotty struggles in the company of other dogs at the moment so would need to be the only pet in the home, which makes finding a fosterer that much harder.
He has shown impeccable manners when left in an office here for short periods, and enjoys sleeping in his bed and eating his stuffed Kong. He loves to play with toys and getting something new to play with makes him forget he’s not a puppy anymore. The staff love him!
He needs to be fostered by someone that has experience of caring for dogs with complex needs, it may take him a little time to adapt and he will need lots of training and reassurance.
Can you give him the chance of a happy future?
Please contact our behaviourist, Rosie, if you think you can help Scotty. He will struggle to find a forever home while in kennels but with your help this lovely lad has a chance of happiness and a bright future.
