We are looking for an understanding and patient owner for Evan. He was signed over to us by his owner with background history, however we feel that he needs to have a rural home with free access to outside once settled. We were told that he had been missing for around 5 weeks before he was taken to a vet and scanned for a microchip. Unfortunately the owners had by that point taken other cats into the home and the new cats did not get along with Evan. Here in the cattery he is very weary and nervous with us, will respond to treats and food but not happy with much handling. We were told that he had been good with everyone in the home without any issues, including children. We are now looking for a home without children and a more rural setting, he may be happy to live with another cat. **UPDATE**
Now that Evan has settled in with us he is enjoying being around us and asking for a fuss so it may take him a little while to settle into a new environment but he is a lovely boy.
