With a name inspired by the legendary Grand Master from Star Wars, our Yoda may be little, but his presence is larger than life. Full of character, charm, and a whole lot of bounce, he’s ready to find a forever home where he can truly shine.
Friendly with people? Absolutely! Strangers are simply friends he hasn’t greeted yet! Yoda happily says hello to everyone he meets, charming them with his big eyes and wiggly enthusiasm. He even completed a training course that was hosted at the shelter, where he proved himself a star pupil – soaking up cuddles and mastering new skills like a true Jedi in training.
Yoda could live with children aged 10+, who understand that even Jedi Masters appreciate their personal space. He’d prefer to be the only dog in his galaxy, though he would benefit from continued socialisation adventures out and about. Cats are a mystery still – that chapter has yet to be written!
When it comes to playtime, the Force is strong with this one. Yoda LOVES toys – especially balls! Fetch is serious business, and while he’ll chase like he’s piloting the Millennium Falcon, sharing his prized treasures isn’t always part of the plan. A secure garden would be perfect for him to zoom, bounce, and release all that hyperspace energy.
Yoda thrives on fun, fuss, and tasty rewards (treats are very high on his list of favourite things!). He can sometimes feel a little stressed when left alone here at the shelter, so he may need patience and reassurance as he adjusts to home life. With time, understanding, and a steady routine, he’ll feel safe and settled in his own Jedi temple.
