Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival – 19th to 21st June – Montpellier Gardens, Cheltenham

Cheltenham Animal Shelter will be at the event all three days, offering delicious treats and one-of-a-kind toys for your pets. We’ll also be showcasing some of our animals looking for their forever homes and sharing ways you can make a difference. Be sure to join us on Saturday for the exciting dog show, where the top three winners will receive a special doggie goody bag!

We are delighted to have been invited back to the Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival this year and will once again be present for the whole three-day festival.

Friday – drop in behaviour advice
Between 12-4pm we have available a dog behaviour drop-in clinic, where you can chat with our qualified Behaviourists about any issues you may be experiencing with your dog. Alongside this, we’ll be running a fun dog scent game workshop.
Saturday – fun dog show
10am – Registration opens

13:45 – Waggiest Tail or Wiggliest Bottom
14:15 – Scruffiest or Fluffiest
14:45 – Dog the judges would like to take home

Sunday – vet physio advice
From 12–4pm, come and meet Natalie, a fully qualified veterinary physiotherapist who provides home visits for animals of all sizes across Gloucestershire.
Natalie specialises in post-operative rehabilitation, supporting animals with existing conditions, and helping to maintain overall fitness and wellbeing. She’ll be offering dog assessments, along with expert advice and practical tips to support your pet’s health.
PLEASE NOTE: in the interests of animal welfare, we will cancel the dog show if temperatures are set to exceed 24°. Any pre-resistrations will be contacted and offered a refund of class entry fees.
Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival is a ticketed event and you will need an entry ticket for your chosen day(s) to access the Dog Zone. Tickets can be bought in advance or on the day.
