Staffy, age 2 years 3 months
Rhonda arrived at the Shelter in January 2025 as a stray. This gorgeous girl had clearly had a tough time and appeared to have recently had puppies so she needs a safe, loving home to call her own.
Since being at the Shelter our team has helped her enjoy walking nicely on a lead and worked on boosting her confidence when out and about. She is now a pro at keeping her attention on her carers when distractions are around, and she’s now much better at coping in unfamiliar situations.
As much as she enjoys time to chill out in her kennel, she much prefers spending time with her favourite humans for cuddles, fuss and butt scratches.

- She makes cute little ‘seal’ noises when she greets you.
- Loves a butt scratch.
- She shows off her belly and rolls on her back when she finds a ball she really loves.
What do you like most about Rhonda?
She has a lovely personality and never fails to make me laugh with her quirky characteristics. She would do absolutely anything for a treat which makes potential for training quite easy.
