Danny could live with children aged 14+, as he’s a very energetic boy who loves to jump, play, and zoom around. He might also be able to live with a confident, well-socialised female dog, provided introductions go well.
He’s only used to being left for short periods – just a couple of hours – but may occasionally have a little accident when left alone, so his new family will need to help him build up his confidence with this.
A secure garden with tall fencing is essential, as Danny is quite the athlete! He has previously cleared smaller fences with ease, so he’ll need safe boundaries and plenty of space to run and burn off his energy.
Despite his excitement and zest for life, Danny Doo has a sweet, sensitive side. He can be a little shy of new people or some types of handling at first, but with patience and reassurance he soon comes around. Once he trusts you, he’ll snuggle right up and melt into your side – he truly is a loving boy.
Danny is highly food-motivated (a bit of a greedy lad!), and he adores enrichment activities like Kongs, puzzles, and treat toys, which help him settle and keep his clever mind busy.
