Floki would be best suited to a home with older teens (around 16+), although younger children could be considered if they’re sensible and used to lively dogs. He prefers to be the only dog at home and can’t live with cats, as he finds them far too exciting, but he’s perfectly polite when passing other dogs while out and about.
This enthusiastic chap would thrive with plenty of enrichment, especially calming activities like scent work to help channel his energy in a positive way. He also enjoys having space to zoom, so a good-sized, secure garden would be ideal for him to burn off steam. When it’s time to head out, Floki is a dream in the car and travels beautifully.
At home, Floki is comfortable being left alone for several hours, making him a good fit for adopters who need to pop out during the day. One important note: Floki has a sneaky habit of trying to snack on tennis balls, so these are strictly off-limits for his own safety!
