Say hello to Bertie, a truly lovely older chap with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! Bertie may be in his golden years, but he’s still got plenty of sparkle left and is happiest when he’s with his favourite humans.
Bertie is looking for a calm, cosy home where he can enjoy lots of TLC and home comforts. He’d love someone who is around most of the time – he finds being left alone quite worrying, so someone who can keep him company would make him very happy.
This gentle soul could live with children aged 10 and over, as long as they understand he’s a senior who prefers a quieter pace of life. He’d like to be the only dog in the home, but he’s polite and social when meeting other dogs out and about. There’s no history with cats, so he’s best in a feline-free home.
Bertie would adore having a garden to potter in, where he can enjoy the sunshine and take in all the interesting smells. Although he hasn’t been out and about much recently, he’s taking everything in his stride and showing what a resilient, easy-going boy he is.
Bertie doesn’t ask for much – just love, comfort, and someone special to share his days with.
