Duggie is a truly wonderful dog who is waiting patiently for someone to see what a special boy he is. He’s gentle, sweet-natured and, once he gets to know you, his playful personality really begins to shine. He loves squeaky toys, enjoys enrichment games and, like most dogs, thinks a tasty snack is always a great idea!
Duggie can be a little reserved when meeting new people and needs time to feel comfortable, but watching his confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. Once he trusts you, you’ll see more and more of his lovely personality emerge.
Duggie would suit an experienced, adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He can find other dogs and cats worrying, so he’ll be happiest in a calm, predictable environment. Busy places, loud noises and sudden movements can also be overwhelming for him, so peaceful walks and a quiet home will help him feel safe and settled.
Duggie isn’t used to being left alone, so he’ll need someone around for most of the day while he settles into his new home. A secure garden would be a wonderful bonus, giving him a safe space to explore and enjoy at his own pace.
He has so much to offer the right person, and we know that with patience, kindness and understanding, he will be a wonderfully rewarding companion.
