Sweet as her name suggests, Honey is a big, beautiful girl with a wonderfully affectionate side just waiting to shine! Once she trusts you, she absolutely adores cuddles and will happily spend her time pressed up beside you, soaking up every bit of fuss she can get. She is a real smoocher too and will happily dish out plenty of kisses to her favourite people!
Honey is looking for an older teen or adult-only home in a quiet area where she can take things at her own pace. She is wary of strangers initially, but a pocket full of treats usually helps win her over pretty quickly! She does take some time to fully trust and build a bond, but once she does, she becomes a wonderfully devoted companion.
Honey currently finds walks overwhelming, so she’ll need a patient family who can slowly build her confidence. A decent-sized, secure garden will be really important while she works on this. She will also need a home with no neighbouring dogs, as hearing dogs through the fence can be stressful for her.
Honey hasn’t had much socialisation with other dogs, so she’ll need to be the only dog in the home, although she has previously lived with cats.
When she’s feeling comfortable, Honey is a playful girl with plenty of energy! She loves anything that involves treats and enjoys zooming around playing with her toys.
For the right family, Honey will be the perfect cuddle companion – a gorgeous girl who may need a little time to let you into her world, but will make it very special once she does.
