Ivy is a wonderfully friendly girl who loves meeting new people and will happily trot over to say hello. She’s a true cuddle-bug and will lean in close for extra fuss, soaking up every bit of affection you offer.
She is looking for a home with children aged 12+, as she can be quite silly and boisterous when overexcited. She could potentially live with another sighthound following careful introductions at the shelter. Due to a strong prey drive, she will need a home without cats or small animals. She is reactive to other dogs when out and about, so she’ll benefit from a calm, experienced home committed to continuing her training. A secure garden is essential, as this agile girl can jump surprisingly high when she’s excited!
Ivy loves being part of the action and finds it very hard being left on her own, so she’s looking for a family where someone is around most of the time. Taking her along on adventures is easy though, as she travels beautifully in the car and even has experience riding buses, happily taking it all in her stride
