Penny is a lovely older girl who is looking for a quiet home where she can enjoy all the comforts and TLC she deserves. She can be a little anxious and takes some time to feel comfortable around new people, but she prefers to take things at her own pace and will happily come over to say hello once she’s feeling ready. Once she knows you, she’ll be very happy to have you around for plenty of fuss and companionship.
Despite being an older lady, Penny still enjoys getting out for her walks and absolutely loves having a good sniff along the way! She’d be happiest with older teens or adults who can give her the calm, settled lifestyle she’s looking for.
Penny would prefer to be the only dog in the home and cannot live with cats. We’re unsure how she’ll find being left alone, so her new family should be prepared to help her settle gradually.
