Meet Rolo – a handsome, gentle-hearted boy looking for a calm and loving home where he can feel safe and settled.
Rolo is a sensitive soul who takes a little time to build trust, but once he does, his affectionate and playful personality really shines through. He loves fuss, tasty treats, and spending time with his favourite people. He’s also a big fan of toys, especially squeaky ones, although he can get a little carried away with the excitement!
Rolo has been building his confidence around other dogs during his time with us, and we feel he could now share his home with another suitable sighthound. He would need a careful introduction and a dog who can help him feel comfortable and relaxed. He is also looking for an adult-only home, as he can find some situations overwhelming and will need people who understand his sensitive nature. Rolo can be a little more wary around men, so he’ll need patient people who can help him continue building his confidence at his own pace.
Rolo would love a quieter home away from busy roads and lots of noise, with a secure garden where he can enjoy relaxing and playing. He finds being left alone worrying, so he’ll need a home where someone is around most of the time or can help him gradually learn that alone time is okay.
With patience, reassurance, and plenty of snacks, Rolo will make a wonderfully loving companion.
