Ted is a sweet little Chihuahua who absolutely adores his people and is happiest when he’s curled up on a warm lap soaking up cuddles. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will happily spend evenings snuggled beside you, Ted could be your perfect match. Once he knows and trusts you, he is an incredibly affectionate little guy and will happily stay for fuss until he’s nodding off with his head bobbing!
Ted is a loyal boy who forms strong bonds with his favourite humans and greets them with the most excited, happy welcomes. He loves being close to his people and will take any opportunity to climb onto a lap for some back scratches!
Ted can sometimes feel a little overwhelmed by the big wide world, so he would thrive in a calm, quieter home where he can feel safe and reassured. A peaceful environment will help him relax and show his wonderful personality. He would especially love a secure garden where he can potter around, enjoy some fresh air, and have his own safe outdoor space.
Ted prefers to keep his home life simple, so he’d be happiest as the only pet in the household where he can have all the love and attention to himself – other dogs make him very anxious and he tends to shout at any cats he sees. He also appreciates a little space around his food and toys. Because he can be a bit wary of new people at first, a home with sensible children aged 14+ who can give him time to settle would suit him best.
Ted was comfortable spending time home alone in his previous home, and settles well when left, making him a great companion for someone who isn’t home every minute of the day.
