Theo is looking for an adult-only, preferably male-only home where he can continue settling into life beyond the racing world. He’s a fun, affectionate lad who loves being around his people, following his nose on adventures, and getting involved in whatever is going on.
Like many greyhounds, Theo is still learning all about home life. He can get a little overexcited at times and may become a bit mouthy when he’s feeling particularly enthusiastic, so he’ll need patient adopters who can help him channel that excitement in positive ways.
Although Theo is a sociable chap, he also very much appreciates having his own space, especially when relaxing, and will thrive with people who are happy to respect his boundaries and let him unwind in peace when he chooses.
While many sighthounds enjoy living alongside other dogs, Theo would prefer to be the only dog in his home for now. He enjoys having his own space and is currently focusing on building his confidence around other dogs with support from the team, and he’s already making positive progress.
Due to his prey drive, Theo cannot live with cats or small animals. A secure garden would be a huge bonus, giving him somewhere safe to potter, sniff, and enjoy a good zoomie.
Theo can find being left alone worrying, so he’s looking for a home where someone is around for much of the day while he builds confidence.
Full of character, charm, and plenty of greyhound goofiness, Theo is sure to make a wonderfully rewarding companion for the right person.
