Zeus

Meet Zeus – a big-hearted, people-loving boy with plenty of character, affection, and playful charm to share with the right home.

Zeus is incredibly friendly with people and absolutely loves saying hello to everyone he meets. He’s happiest when he’s getting attention, enjoying a fuss, or spending quality time with his humans. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who genuinely loves being around people, Zeus could be your perfect match.

He also has a wonderfully playful side and especially enjoys soft toys – tossing them around, entertaining himself, and proudly carrying them about is one of his favourite pastimes! Watching Zeus play is guaranteed to make you smile.

Zeus is looking for a calm, experienced home with sensible children aged 14+ who can understand his needs. He will need to be the only pet in the home as he cannot live with, or next door to other dogs, as he finds them extremely overwhelming and stressful. Because of this, Zeus is currently being muzzle trained as a precaution when out on walks. He is also unable to live with cats due to his strong chase instinct.

Although Zeus is a loving and affectionate boy, he can find busy or noisy environments worrying – particularly the sound of barking dogs. Because of this, he would thrive in a calm, quieter home. A secure private garden would be ideal for him, giving him a safe space to relax, decompress, enjoy playtime, and continue working on his toilet training.

Zeus can be strong on the lead at times, so he’ll need owners who are confident handling larger dogs and willing to continue his training and positive guidance. He also struggles being left alone and can become distressed when separated from his people, so he is hoping to find a home where someone is around most of the time while he gradually learns to feel more settled and secure.

Underneath it all, Zeus is a deeply affectionate dog who simply wants companionship, understanding, and a place where he can feel safe and loved. In the right environment, with patient and committed adopters, he has so much love, loyalty, and joy to give.
