Seconds matter: dog fights and bite incidents

Saturday 14th October 10am – 12:30pm

Join our Behaviour Team at Cheltenham Animal Shelter for a FREE workshop to learn practical and theoretical techniques for handling dog emergencies.

This talk is aimed at those who want to gain theoretical knowledge and learn practical techniques to intervene in dog fights and bite incidents. The talk will mainly be focused on hints and tips on how to manage and respond to emergency situations safely, using practical and theory-based teaching brought to you by our behaviour team.

Whether you already have experience with dogs or simply want to learn more about how to respond in an emergency, this talk is a great opportunity to build your knowledge and understanding of canine behaviour and safety.

This workshop will run for 2.5 hours with light refreshments provided.

The event is free to attend but we would be very grateful for an optional donation if you are able.

**The talk may include some practical demonstrations – this may mean that some of the talk takes place outdoors**

**Please note that unfortunately you are not permitted to bring your own dog(s) to this workshop**
