Pumpkin arrived at the Shelter in January 2025 as a stray. This gorgeous girl had clearly had a tough time so she needs a safe, loving home to call her own.
Pumpkin is a clever, cheeky girl with so much love to give to the people she trusts. Full of personality, she keeps us smiling every day with her funny little habits, love of cuddles, and adorable back scratch wiggle dance!
She loves sniffy adventures, searching for tennis balls and treats, relaxing in the sunshine, and soaking up attention from her favourite humans. Bright and eager to learn, Pumpkin enjoys training and building strong bonds with the people around her.
Pumpkin is looking for a calm adult-only home (16+) where she can be the only pet and enjoy life at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, she’s affectionate, loyal, and wonderfully rewarding to be around – the kind of dog who quickly becomes part of the family.

Pumpkin is an incredibly loyal, affectionate and intelligent girl who forms strong bonds with the people she knows and trusts. Full of love and personality, she’s a real cuddle bug who will happily soak up all the fuss and affection you can give her. We adore her sweet nature, goofy staffy grin and the excited squeaks and super waggy tail she gives when greeting her favourite people. She’s the kind of dog who brings joy to everyone around her.
Pumpkin is easily pleased by the simple things in life – a big soft bed to snooze in, a tennis ball to carry around (and eventually destroy!), tasty treats and spending time with her favourite humans. She also enjoys long-lasting chews, back scratches and sniffy adventures where she can put her nose to work.
She’s a very clever girl who loves learning and has made fantastic progress during her time at the Shelter. Pumpkin already knows loose lead walking, sit, paw, spin and touch, and she’s even mastered waiting patiently for a treat from across the paddock. She is also doing brilliantly with her muzzle training and continues to build her confidence wearing it for longer periods.
Pumpkin is such a loving, happy dog and she deserves someone who can look past her cropped ears and see the wonderful girl underneath. In return, she’ll reward her new family with endless loyalty, laughter and affection.
