Brought to you by our behaviour team, our virtual talk is aimed at those who want to learn more about how to settle and relax new dogs in your home.
The talk covers challenges you may face and ways to work around them. Topics discussed include separation anxiety, meeting other family members, what to do before your dog arrives and basic house training with hints and tips.
The talk is both practical and theory based-learning. Included in the offering is a presentation hosted by our behaviourist, and practical demonstrations filmed here at Cheltenham Animal Shelter that you can practice at home.
Once you have signed up you will receive an email with links to give you immediate online access to the ‘Settling in your dog’ 90 minute presentation, a second shorter video with demonstrations of the practical exercises, and a link to our Settling in your dog blog. Please email [email protected] if you dont promptly receive your order confirmation email containing the links.
You will need a good internet connection to watch the videos. The course is free but we encourage donations to help our pets in need.
