What a night to remember!
We were delighted to welcome so many wonderful supporters, friends and familiar faces to our Centenary Ball on Friday 11th September at the beautiful Pittville Pump Room, as we celebrated 100 years of caring for pets in need.
It was a truly special evening, bringing together people who have supported Cheltenham Animal Shelter over the years, alongside new faces who wanted to learn more about our work. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our history, celebrate everything we have achieved together and look ahead to the future.
Guests enjoyed a welcome drink, a delicious three-course dinner, live music, and an exciting auction and raffle, all helping to make the evening a memorable celebration of our centenary year.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, supported the event, donated prizes or helped behind the scenes. Your generosity and enthusiasm mean so much to our team and help us continue providing care and shelter for the hundreds of cats, dogs and small animals who need us each year.
A special thank you goes to Tux Fizz for keeping our guests entertained, Lukesyeview for capturing the evening so beautifully, our auctioneer from Harper Field for helping make the auction such a success, and Thompson Events for providing our feature photo wall, which proved incredibly popular with guests and provided the perfect backdrop for some wonderful memories.
Relive the magic of the evening
We’re delighted to announce that the Centenary Ball photo gallery is now live!
Whether you would like to revisit your favourite moments, find photographs of friends and family, or simply remember a wonderful evening spent celebrating with us, you can now browse the gallery and purchase your favourite photographs.
Fifty per cent of the proceeds from photograph sales will be donated to Cheltenham Animal Shelter, so every purchase will also help support the animals in our care.
Thank you once again to everyone who helped make our Centenary Ball such a special occasion. We are incredibly proud to have reached 100 years of caring for pets in need, and it was a privilege to celebrate this milestone with so many of the people who make our work possible.
Here’s to the next 100 years!
