We are very excited to announce that our on-site veterinary practice has achieved General Practice status under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme.
The Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) is an initiative to accredit UK veterinary practices. The aim of the PSS is to promote and maintain the highest standards of veterinary care. Membership of the PSS is voluntary, and around 69% of eligible UK practices are part of it. These practices are also known as RCVS-accredited practices.
An enormous amount of work goes into preparing for this assessment, and practices are assessed in lots of different areas including anaesthesia, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, client experience, infection control, and nursing – to name just a few!
We are very proud of, and owe a big thank you to the entire team who all took part in contributing to achieve this accreditation!
