We have some very exciting news to share with you – on Saturday 27th July we are opening a new pop-up charity shop in the iconic Cavendish House building on Cheltenham’s Promenade!
We are pleased to see this beautiful building being used for the benefit of local small businesses and the community and are proud to be part of this exciting venture.
Our on-site charity shop provides a valuable resource during the current cost-of-living crisis with only the best quality items sold at real charity shop prices and we are looking forward to a presence in the town centre.
Since our on-site charity shop in Gardners Lane opened in 2013 it has raised over £600,000 for our pets in need and is a vital source of income to keep the Shelter running. We hope that the pop-up shop in Cavendish House will be a great success and pave the way for us to have more off-site shops.
Located on the first floor of Cavendish House, where Biba once stood in women’s fashion, our shop is one of the first businesses to fill the space and we invite everyone to pop by and see us!
We launch on Saturday 27th July and will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Sunday 10:30am to 4:30pm and closed on Mondays. The building is dog friendly so please bring your furry friends along.
Selling a range of quality men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories, homewares, books and games at bargain prices, we have something for any savvy shopper.
We kindly ask that donations for our charity shops are delivered to the Shelter in Gardners Lane wherever possible as we don’t have facilities to store and sort donations in town.
We are still looking for volunteers to help us in the new shop, please email volunteers@gawa.org.uk to find out more.
