Step through the wardrobe and into the world of the real Aslan – a majestic Caucasian Shepherd with a lion’s mane and a heart that’s still learning how to roar with confidence. At first glance, he may seem like the noble guardian of Narnia, but behind those soulful eyes is a gentle giant who’s still discovering his place in the world.
Aslan is looking for a peaceful, adult-only kingdom to call his own. As he lacks socialisation, he’d rather not bump into other dogs on his walks, particularly the off-lead sort that come bounding over uninvited! Past experiences with dogs next door have been a bit stressful for Aslan, so he’d be happiest with no furry neighbours over the fence.
Aslan is a strong boy on the lead – when it comes to wildlife, let’s just say his idea of birdwatching involves more speed and fewer binoculars! He can be wary of new faces and easily unsettled by loud or busy environments. Though he’s slowly gaining confidence, a peaceful, quiet home would help him feel safe and relaxed.
When he lets his guard down – that’s when the magic happens. This big-hearted lad turns into a silly, playful big softie– zooming around with joy, playing like a pup, and leaning into you for a fuss or a brush. He thrives on connection and adores being close to his people, so a home where someone is around most of the time would suit him best. He’s not just looking for a home – he’s looking for someone who’ll help him feel safe, understood, and unconditionally loved.
Some of Aslan’s favourite pastimes include paddling in the pool – he absolutely loves the water and isn’t shy about making a splash. He’s also got quite the refined taste when it comes to gourmet treats and will happily show off his best manners for a tasty reward. And when he’s feeling playful, you’ll often find him happily flinging his favourite stuffed toys around, turning any room into his own little playground.
Aslan may not rule over Narnia, but he’s ready to reign over your heart. Could you be the brave, kind soul to walk by his side on this enchanted journey?
