Goose is a joyful, playful lad who’s ready to bring lots of smiles into his new home. He is looking for an adult only home, and while he’s been sociable with other dogs when out and about, he’d prefer to be the only dog in the household so he can soak up all the attention for himself. Cats are a bit too tempting for Goose – he definitely enjoys the chase, so a cat-free home is a must!
He can be a little cautious around new people when he’s out and about, and prefers to take his time getting to know someone before showing his full personality. Once he feels safe and comfortable, he truly blossoms and shows just how affectionate, loyal, and sweet he is. Goose loves his toys and enjoys a play session, and he really appreciates a good run around in the garden, so a home with outdoor space would be ideal for him.
Goose can be left alone for a few hours, but he much prefers having company and being part of the action. He’s not a fan of the vets, so he’ll need a confident, understanding owner to gently support him in those situations. He’s currently being muzzle trained to help make vet visits as stress-free as possible. Goose does best with consistent, positive training methods, as he can be sensitive to raised voices or firm correction. With encouragement and clear guidance, he really shines.
