Ziggy is an energetic, people-loving lad who thrives on interaction and adventure. Whether it’s heading out for a walk or greeting his favourite humans, he brings enthusiasm to everything he does. He can be strong on the lead, so he’ll benefit from an experienced owner who can continue to guide him with calm, consistent handling and positive training.
Ziggy loves a bit of fuss, with neck scratches and bum scratches ranking as his absolute favourite! Ziggy also has a playful side and loves a good game, but he can get a little overexcited, so regular breaks for calming activities like scent work help him reset and stay relaxed.
Food is definitely the way to Ziggy’s heart. He’s a big fan of enrichment toys and puzzle feeders, which not only keep his clever mind occupied but also help him unwind – plus, any activity that involves snacks is a win in his book.
Ziggy would do best in a home with adults and teens aged 16+ who can understand his excitable nature. He’s looking for a pet-free home, as he’s not a fan of cats and feels unsure around other dogs. A secure garden would be ideal for him to burn off energy safely and enjoy some outdoor time at his own pace.
He can be sensitive to noise and doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long periods, as he can become distressed and a bit destructive, so he’s hoping to find a home where someone is around most of the time to keep him company. The good news is he travels well in the car, making him a great co-pilot for days out and new adventures.
Ziggy is a loving, lively boy who will thrive with patient, experienced owners willing to invest in his training and give him the structure he needs.
