Shelter team member, Angie, is bravely taking on a wing walking challenge to raise money for our pets in need!
Here is what Angie has to say:
“I am challenging myself to do a daring Wing Walk on the top wing of a Boing 1940’s Spearman Bi-plane on the 3rd August with AeroSuperBatics in Cirencester, to help raise vital funds for the Cheltenham Animal Shelter.
It is a charity close to mine and my families heart, our own dog Ronnie was a rescue dog, I wouldn’t be without him. I feel these animals are in desperate need of a loving, forever home where they can be part of a family. Cheltenham Animal Shelter helps animals like our Ronnie find their new families and love & happiness.
They rely on the generosity of us, members of the public, to help them look after hundreds of dogs, cats and small animals that they care for each year. It costs over £1 million a year to do this and sadly, they aren’t eligible for any Government funding to help them.
I do hope you will be able to help me support the amazing work they do and help enritch the lives of hundreds of lonely pets. Thank you.”
