and 'fetch a pet...' Take a look

Gender: Female

Age: 7 years old

Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Ruby is an intelligent and loving girl – she learns a new command very quickly and loves human company, she wants to please you, and rewards you with great loyalty and love. She’s a beautiful black brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who loves to cuddle, play ball and run around. She would be suited to someone who worked from home and doesn’t have other pets; she would just be happy to be at your side ,be great company and would love to play fetch with a tennis ball once a day. At the moment she doesn’t like to spend long periods on her own, but with time and some training this could be overcome. She would love to have space to run around freely, and somewhere quiet to call her own. Whilst out walking she’s happier away from other dogs, but her socialisation is something that can be continued in her new home. As one of our longest residents Ruby may need support settling in, but we will give you all the support and advice you need

**We have the wonderful Andrea Marsh come to the shelter weekly to perform Shiatsu on Ruby, and we have found that this has really benefited her. Andrea is willing to help settle Ruby into her new home, with some 1-1 sessions when she is adopted.**
